Ok, the sunny days have gone away. Now it looks more like Rotterdam: grey since early morning till the end of the working day - here at 5 or 6 pm, local dinner time - , then the sky turns into black and everything looks much prettier, thanks to an appropriate skyline and cool lighting.
On Monday we had the first class at RSM - Rotterdam School of Management, in the Erasmus University. We are starting these first six weeks with a course on cross-cultural management topics, together with a business project with Philips which will span through the whole semester. On Friday I'll be with my team in Eindhoven for the first briefing with the company. Right now you can see how the main university building was on a pretty day.

We encountered an issue here, as the workload at RSM is quite intensive. Professors give assignments for practically every class, so you need to study progressively and always have to be prepared with the various written tasks.
But the most problematic event so far was surely a food poisoning episode we went through on Monday evening, after having some Dutch and Indonesian food (bad choice at all...). Me and Paolo had some throw-up time, while I also had fever for a whole day. Now we're recovering with some standard medicines to restore the full functionality of our flora. Today I'm feeling more or less dizzy, I have been listening to Ultra for hours, looking from my window at the boats navigating under the bridge - things I would not do in normal conditions.
Oh, this is how my room looks like right now, with the new cheap wardrobe, desk and office chair; you can spot the door opening towards the living room on the right. I will show the other side of the room later, since it still needs some cleanup and reorganization. Good day! =)
